Build the Enterprise Operating System
In 2021, we set out to build the first Enterprise Operating System (EOS) and automate the world’s finance and operations. Enterprise financial services are deeply fragmented, opaque, and antiquated. We believe a well-researched and carefully-built product is the key to bridging the gap. Series is a partner to corporations and institutions globally in giving them the technology and team they need so they can focus on what they do best.

1. Championship team 🏆
- High expectations - We are a winning team and have high expectations for performance and delivering results. We take extraordinary measures to have exceptional people in every seat. We ask whether each candidate will raise the average on the team before making an offer. We actively coach and develop our people. We will never be complacent, and should always view our company as “default-dead.” Unremarkable performance is given a severance package.
- Earning each other’s time - We are committed as a business to earn the commitment and time of the people that make up Series. Likewise, we expect that every one on this team earn and constantly re-earn their seat within the company.
- Great responsibility - Our users entrust us with their business, their money, and their livelihoods. This comes with a great deal of responsibility, and we act accordingly. Our teammates can prosper here while ensuring that they have ample time with families or friends every day, but working here will mean some late nights, some weekends, and sometimes paying attention during off-hours.
2. Ambition 🚀
- Dream big - We aren’t afraid of the scope of any challenge. We don’t ask how the world is, but how it should be. We bite off more than we can chew, regularly.
- Systematic innovation - We are builders, leveraging technology to improve the world, constantly shipping ideas vs. just discussing them. We know that companies must continually reinvent themselves to avoid stagnation. We have a high tolerance for failure. It is in our DNA to constantly and repeatably go from 0 to 1.
- Run hard - We show up every day as if we’re changing the world, because we are. Win the marathon sprint by sprint, second by second. We act with urgency and focus.
3. Outcomes 🚢
- Measure everything - We know that what you measure improves. We take steps to ensure we have measurable goals company-wide for everything we do. Sometimes this is hard to do, but we do it anyway. We actively call out when things aren’t measured and proactively think about how we plan to share our outcomes.
- Fail loud and proud - We don't always get outcomes we want. When this happens, we share proudly. We ask ourselves where we went wrong, learn from it, share our learnings, and move on.
- Iterate, iterate, iterate - Nothing we do will be perfect forever. We recognize that all parts of our business will constantly change. We embrace this change but also are extremely intentional about these changes.

- Customer first - We aim to all be experts on our customer. We take steps as a business to systematically teach all teammates about our customer’s needs. Everyone on our team is expected to actively attempt to empathize with our customers. Every effort company wide can be traced back to the customer’s needs. We constantly ask “How does this help the customer?”
- Everyone is a customer - We aim to not only provide our customers a 6 star experience, but also all people we interact with. This includes teammates, their families, vendors, and guests. Everyone that experiences Series should feel and be better for it.
- Exude energy - We are endlessly creative around solutions and exude unlimited energy for our customers and teammates. We are proactive around communication and convenience for the customer. We strive for relentless service and holistic understanding. We aim to be the best in the world at servicing our customers.

- Never not my job - We do what’s best for the organization overall. Not-my-job attitudes grate at Series: we admire, recognize, and reward people who do the opposite. We’re willing to step out of lane to make life better for each other, and our customers. We put the team first. We share in the successes and failures of others.
- Bias towards action - We ask for forgiveness, not permission. We are independent, but aren’t afraid to ask for help. We are proactive, going above and beyond what is asked. We ruthlessly prioritize. We deliver our best work because we care. We deliver on our commitments.
- One team - We take responsibility for our role in every outcome, even when its inconvenient. We try to understand others before trying to be understood, even when it’s inconvenient. We use our resources wisely. We have immense pride in what we do and who we are.
